My best reading month of the year so far!
Without a doubt, March has been my most productive reading month of the year so having read six books!
👋 Hello
Happy Sunday all! It’s actually now only 3 hours before you’re about to receive this. Usually, I try and get this done first thing on Sunday and then get on with my day. However, my partner and I woke up today and decided to have the most productive day ever. Today we’ve: dusted our entire bedroom, mown the lawn, gone out shopping and come home and made a large bookcase for downstairs. Been non-stop for about 7 hours and my back is killing me (said the 30-year-old).
Next Friday is my birthday (not so-subtle link to my Amazon wishlist) and so I’m not sure if there’ll be a newsletter depending on how I’m feeling (may just want to chill).
But THIS week, I’ve got a YouTube video for you to watch. As March finished, it was time I did a summary of the books I read. Reading six means it was actually my best reading month of the year (so far)! Have a watch below!
📖 What I’ve been reading this week
This week has been another great reading week for me. This week I finished Orbital by Samantha Harvey which was never going to take me long because it’s only about 150 pages long. It’s an odd book that at time felt more like a philosophical poem that it did a fiction book.
Then I finished HP and the Chamber of Secrets as part of my continued Harry Potter reread. I’m now onto Prisoner of Azkaban and still absolutely loving it. These later ones are the ones I have less fond memories of simply because they’re a little darker and longer, but still amazing and love picking up the Stephen Fry audiobook at literally every moment.
I’ll likely next be picking up The Wrong Sister by Claire Douglas as it’s just become available on Libby for me to borrow!
🤑 99p Kindle books
The sun’s out and that makes everyone want to sit out somewhere and read and so why not pick up a couple of new paperbacks and have them arrive in the next couple of days?
Well Amazon have a great deal of 2 paperbacks for £9 at the moment and I’ve listed some of the standout books below along with a button to explore more:
