More books I will accept no criticism of
A while ago I did a video on books I'll accept no criticism of and on Monday I filmed a part two!
👋 Hello
This weekend seems to be more like British weather. Sunny and quite pleasurable yesterday and then grey and rainy today. Typical!
We’re dog-sitting at the moment for a family member. He’s a Japanese Chin, you may have seen a picture of him on my Instagram stories. He’s got a lovely temperament but I do try and get him out before other people see me with him and everyone asks me the question “What is he?”
This week I posted a video as a follow-up to my video on Books I’d accept no criticism of. This second video featured five more books I’d happily fight you on if you said anything bad against them:
As well as this, I’ve just finished posting my review of A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik. In short: I didn’t like it very much.
📖 What I’ve been reading this week
This week I’ve been reading a couple of different books. My main audio read was Night Road by Kristin Hannah which was simply one of my favourite books of the year. Everything I read by her I absolutely love.
The other book has been JP Sheerin’s Marley’s Ghosts which I’m picking up when I have a spare reading moment. It’s been good so far and cosy but I am sort of waiting for something interesting to happen and the pace to pick up.
🤑 4 paperbacks for the price of 3 and support authors!
World of Books is one of my favourite place to pick up second-hand books as they always have a great deal on and I know they support authors!
Their deal of picking up 4 books the price of 3 is fantastic and means you could be picking up four books for only about £12!
Here are some of the bangers I’ve found:
